VigilAir is a wholly owned subsidisary of TPT Group Holdings (NZ) Limited and was founded in 2016 to commercialise the VigilAir integrated security drone response solution.

​

This technology delivers a faster, safer and more cost effective response compared to traditional security guards.  VigilAir can save customers 30-60% in comparison.

​

VigilAir interfaces with customer electronic security systems and when a security sensor goes into an alarm it alerts the VigilAir Command Centre software.  The software manages the risk of a drone response taking into account weather data and managing multiple flight routes to the destination.  When operational parameters are met the system operator authorises the drone to be launched and while in flight live footage is streamed back to the operator.

VigilAir is the real eye in the sky solution and all data and video information from the drone are protected from cyber attack with fully encrypted communication paths.

• VigilAir receives an alarm from a customers electronic security system

• VigilAir checks the weather data to ensure its suitability for a drone launch

• A system operator checks the flight routes available within VigilAir and makes the decision to launch a drone

• VigilAir immediately communicates with the Drone Enclosure and opens it in preparation of a launch

• VigilAir launches a drone and flies one of a number of pre-determined flight routes

• VigilAir manoeuvres to the optimal location for surveillance

• The burglars get a surprise when they see a drone approaching and the camera films them head on

• The drone films the fleeing perpetrators, sending a live video signal back to base

• The remote security guard monitoring the action activates the drone’s bright LED floodlights and the 110dB siren

• The drone cameras follow the fleeing suspects, capturing their vehicle license plate number as they escape

• As video imagery is transmitted to base, it’s captured with VigilAir’s SaaS software and made instantly available to decision makers

• The crime has been defeated and the Vigilar drone returns to its base station to recharge in readiness for its next mission

VigilAir Ground Based Response

​

VigilAir also can provide a ground based response with its VigilAir robot.  The robot is able to work alongside the aerial response or by itself on a customer site.

​

The robots remove the need to put a human guard in to a dangerous situation and work alongside traditional guards saving customers 30-50%, pricing starting at just $12.00 per hour.

 

A reliable security solution, providing surveillance, presence and peace of mind. The robot can patrol continuously for up to 20 hours; autonomously following a patrol route, avoiding obstacles and notifying of any significant security events or changes.  The robot will autonomously re-charge itself and continue patrols without human support. 

 

The system is highly configurable and its inbuilt artificial intelligence allows it to learn and understand its environment/terrain and make decisions on routing and obstacle avoidance.  Utilising the ground robots, provides a significant ‘Presence’ to a site, and allows the surveillance to be completed without the gaps that are a limitation of fixed camera systems. 

 

The introduction of robots into a security system will allow the guard force to be optimised and only committed to incidents where the threat can be properly assessed.  The robot can be used effectively indoors or outdoors and can patrol large areas very effectively.

They are fully equipped with closed circuit television cameras that operate smart technology with these streaming back to a centralised operator.
